5 Habits Destroying Your Hair

If you think your hair is dull dry, if it doesn’t feel smooth or healthy, then you’re, probably making a few mistakes that are keeping you from having an amazing hairstyle in today’s article i want to show you five habits that are destroying your hair and your hairstyle.

Let’s, get started with the five habits, destroying your beautiful hair. The first habit that you have to cut immediately is washing your hair with shampoo that isn’t sulfate free.

This is something that took me really long to figure out. I had no idea what sulfate even was until i was like 25., so many hair products contain sulfate and that can potentially cause damage to your hair.

You can remove proteins from your hair. You can cause itchy, scalp and sulfates, for you guys that don’t know yet are chemicals used as cleansing agents, they’re found in household cleaners, detergents and even in shampoo, and the purpose for sulfate is to create that lathering effect To remove all the oil and the dirt from your hair, the downside, though, is not worth it, because it also strips away all the natural oils from your scalp from your hair, and that makes your hair dry and brittle.

So when people ask me alex, why is my hair so dry? Why doesn’t? It look nice and healthy like yours? Well, it’s time to switch over to a sulfate free, high quality, shampoo and conditioner, and you know who makes those forte’s series.

Our forte series clarifying shampoo is packed with natural ingredients like apple cider, vinegar, aloe, vera, peppermint, oil and shea butter. So it nourishes your scalp while providing a really intense root to tip cleanse the apple, cider, vinegar and the peppermint oil helps soothe dry, irritated scalp to help to fight against any flakes that you might have.

No one wants that right, flakes on your black t-shirt here that show up when you’re wearing like a dark color, and it just falls onto your shoulder. No one wants that that doesn’t look good, and this shampoo will help plus, if you want a squeaky, clean feeling, the shampoo will give you just that it has aloe vera which helps break down stubborn buildup from oils and products.

That means that you can get rid of product residue and press that reset button on your hair and, of course there is absolutely no sulfates parabens or any other harmful chemicals in our shampoo. Only the best ingredients were used to make it guys.

Your hair is actually really fragile after a long shower or a wash and brushing your hair. Before it’s dryer before it’s, a little bit drier anyway, it’s, going to cause some serious breakage over time.

If your hair is soaked, then what i would say is: first use a towel. You know pat dry, very gently to make sure that you’re, not breaking it, because when your hair is wet, it is definitely way more fragile.

So you can’t really tug and pull with a towel. You’re, not really supposed to be brushing it. You have to do it very lightly. First, i even like to apply some oil before i brush my hair, because it makes it a lot smoother.

It makes it a lot easier to detangle and to brush at the end of the day. I know that you guys don’t want to lose your hair, so what you have to do is be really careful. When it’s wet apply, some oil go easy.

When you’re, brushing it and try to towel dry before anything else. The next mistake that you’re, probably making with your hair, is using bad drugstore styling products and look i’m, not saying that every drugstore product is going to be bad, but a lot of them are made with cheap ingredients and Bad chemicals and they’re mass produced after all.

That is why you can pay six seven dollars for a styling product, because the ingredients in there are obviously not high-end. They’re, obviously not good quality plus a lot of the drugstore products, especially styling ones, will give you a wet look.

It’s like a gel or a pomade. That has a really wet shiny finish and that’s. Obviously not what i like to go for, i much prefer the matte finish like i have right now. It just looks like you almost have nothing in there.

You know, and the gel just makes it look really greasy doesn’t make it look nice. So then, all of a sudden you’re. Like did i wash my hair? Why is it greasy? Am i sweaty nope that’s, just the product that you’re using look? If you don & # 39, t want to try the forte series products.

That is fine, but i’m telling. You definitely try to upgrade your hairstyle products to something that is not drugstore. Give it a chance, see how it feels. Try it out, because you never know you could be missing out on a huge opportunity to have a much much better hairstyle.

I know there’s, a lot of guys who are like yeah, but i’ve, been using this product for like six years dude i’m like yeah, and your hair hasn’t looked good for the Past six years, so there’s, something going on here and it needs to change no offense.

But i’m gonna assume it’s the product next up taking only hot showers – and i know i love some hot showers once in a while. They’re very soothing, very calming and relaxing right. It relaxes your muscles.

It feels nice take like a nice long shower in there. It feels great, but what is bad for you is that hot water is actually really drying your scalp, your hair, even your skin overall skin, all over your body, especially on your face.

So when you’re, taking hot shower after hot shower all the time and it’s happening every single day, then your skin is going to start being affected by this. Your hair is going to start to feel dry. Your scalp is going to get itchy and dry and maybe flaky the quality of your hair styles will start going down because it will feel dry, not really any more life to your hair to feel brittle right.

The texture of your hair will not be the same, and your scalp will definitely get itchy over time. So there’s, no need to take cold showers every single day. I know they’re, not the most comfortable showers.

They’re, not the most relaxing showers, but they will jolt you awake right. They’ll. Give you that fresh energy immediately when you’re taking cold showers, they’re much better for your hair, much better! For your scalp and definitely a lot better for your face and your skin, so it’s all about balance.

You know what, in the morning you wake up, you take a cold shower. You feel energized! You get your stuff done during the day and then at night, when it’s time to relax, you can take a warmer shower but make sure that you’re, not doing it every single day, because that will damage your body.

The next one is something that i’ve only experienced once back in the day. You guys probably remember this as embarrassing as it is. I used to have the top knot and i used to tie my hair back all the time right and it was just long enough for me to be able to tie it, which means i had to go pretty tight but wearing tight hairstyles all day long.

All the time is actually very damaging to your hair and since a lot of us have been staying home in 2020, there’s been a huge number of guys who, like me, are growing out their hair, and that means that now you know you’re, starting to tie your hair in a bun or wearing a headband, or an elastic to just get it back here and keep it away from your face, especially when you’re working out, and the thing starts going like this right.

You have to wear a band, you have to keep it back somehow the problem with that is that it can actually really mess up, not only your hair, but it can give you a massive headache. If you’re not used to it every once.

In a while, it is okay to wear a headband to tie it up in a bun. If you can do that yet i’m jealous. I’m, not there. Yet i don’t even know. If i’ll make it but definitely avoid wearing. You know that tight pulled back hairstyle every single day, because that can break your hair.

It can cause it to fall out and in time continuous pulling can actually damage your hair follicles permanently.
